It's possible to feed such system with new input data (never seen before), a new situation, and our NN will produce a reasonable or intelligent response in its outputs. It may be a stock value prediction for certain circumstances (Forecasting), a risk for a new loan application, a local weather warning or the identification of a person in a new picture (Pattern Recognition). | ||||||||||||
| It isn't easy, but it woks! The future of NN will be determined in part by ad hoc chips developments, parallel/optical computation advances, and may be new chemical processing units. | ||||||||||||
